*Happy New Year to all of our wonderful friends and supporters! As of December 22, You Are Here will be on our annual winter break until the end of January. We use this time to clean, paint, repair and refresh our spaces. Regular hours will resume in February. In the mean time, watch for our spring class schedule and other news on our Events page and social media.

Mission

You Are Here delivers equitable assistance and opportunities that equip artists and community members to engage in creative projects that reflect local culture, and build individual and community pride and self-confidence.  

Vision

You Are Here supports artists in all stages of their development by providing work space, exhibition opportunities, and opportunities to participate in innovate community projects.  You Are Here provides access to affordable creative materials through a reuse center of donated supplies and equipment. You Are Here actively engages individuals living with disabilities via regularly scheduled art classes for wellness and skill-building.  

Oh, Scrap! is a thrift store for artists housed at You Are Here at 406 Clay Avenue. 

Oh, Scrap! introduces the community to the creation of art from upcycled and recycled material through unique public projects. Check the Mad Lab News and the Events calendar to see what is coming up.

The “Lean On Me Cane Project” is now the “Lean On Me Project.” Our mission is to provide expanded services and art opportunities that help increase pride, self worth and confidence in one’s unique abilities.
